Working at height training

Work at height means working in a place (except a staircase in a permanent workplace) where a person could be injured by falling from it, even if it is at or below ground level (HSA).

Course Objective:

On completion of this unit participants will be able to identify and understand the key factors involved in setting up and maintaining a safe system of work at height. Participants will also be able to select, check and properly fit a suitable harness and lanyard for working at height.

  • The harness and Anchor points
  • Climbing Ladders and Scaffolding
  • Using the equipment on-site

  • Packing and Storing your equipment
  • Rescue Planning

Assessment:

Short written test and skills demonstration.

Course Duration: 3 hours

 

Certification:

Certified by TK training after successful completion of working at height training and assessments.
