Overhead Gantry Crane Training Course

Course Objective:

This course is designed for new and experienced operators of overhead gantry cranes or in an area where they are being used. Overhead gantry cranes can be extremely dangerous if operated incorrectly. In-house courses are provided for employees who manage, supervise or operate overhead gantry cranes.

Course Content:

* Legislation

* Overloading

* Start stopping operation

* Hazardous situations

* Safe use and manoeuvring of crane

* Operators daily checks

* Practical

* Introduction to the overhead gantry crane

* Controls and instruments

* Operation of controls

* Weight assessment

* Manoeuvring of crane in confined spaces

Assessment:

Written test and skills demonstration.

Certification:

Certified by TK training after successful completion of the overhead gantry crane training and assessments.

Participants: Maximum 8
